Flick Pest Control KZN was established in July 1973 as a partnership between Mr Chris van Niekerk and Flick Pest Control SA, which is in turn a part of the Original Flick Pest Control (Australia). Prior to this, Flick Pest Control KZN was known as “Durban Fumigation Company”, which was established in 1958 by Mr J. DeWet van Niekerk – the father of Mr Chris van Niekerk.

In January 2002 Mr Jaco van Niekerk, the son of Mr van Niekerk, joined the company as Head of the Fumigation Division and has since become the owner, making it a 3rd generation family business.

We are also associated with other Flick branches throughout the country in Port Elizabeth (owned by Mr Adries van Niekerk – brother of Chris van Niekerk), Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Pietermaritzburg.
